Objective:
Jon wanted an open plan living space to make his home more modern and classier, as well as having doors that do not obstruct furniture when opened.
Solution:
We had to convert a multi-room Kitchen and Diner to create this living space for Jon.
Working closely with Mr Dodd we had to ensure all the floor levels within the build worked, which was a challenge due to the existing rooms having considerable height.
It was key that we maintained regulations as well as making the construction look and work great to fulfil its purpose.
Results:
The external paving area was to be flush to the frames and therefore we adopted an invisible drainage system that we dressed a flashing into to carry away water that may penetrate the external paving.
It was a successful build and our swing and slide doors worked well, allowing Mr Dodd to gain a great transformation in his home.
