Objective:
Mr & Mrs Edis have a south facing property and wanted to create an open plan Kitchen and chill out space. The aim of the build is to get as much natural light as possible by removing the existing PVCu Conservatory.
Solution:
Due to it being a very bright location we recommended integral blinds should be installed to provide some shade and privacy during sunny days.
It was important that we captured the natural light, so the couple could experience a great chill out area.
Results:
We installed a Roof Pod with Solar Control Self Cleaning glass. This added a great feature to the space.
The build was constructed using natural stone, which meant there wasn’t a straight-line finish to help sealing. However, rather than using large silicone lines we used an expanding black bio tape. This filled the void between the frame and stonework creating a neat high-performance shadow line around the product.
Overall, we achieved above and beyond for Mr & Mrs Edis it was a pleasure to transform their home.
