Objective:
The aim of this project was to find a way to open out their interior to make it more spacious and expand. In order to do this our idea was to provide a 6 panel door system to fill a 6100mm opening and make the handling as easy as possible.
Solution:
We initially thought it would work well to install Bi-fold doors. However, after meeting our client we decided it will be better to have the flexibility of the Swing and Slide doors. This would allow more movement and therefore a lot more practical due to the width of the doors.
Results:
Mrs Rawlett was happy with the result and understood the practicalities of the swing and slide doors. Each panel had the ability to move independently which provides flexibility and easy use. We also added a large glass roof which provided a great source of natural light and really opened up the space.
